About Créatif

Créatif is a studio where children and adults alike can enjoy media art, learn information programming, and create art and design works. It was newly established in Chofu in the spring of 2024, under the supervision of Professor Sachiko Kodama, who researches media art at the University of Electro-Communications .

With an instructor knowledgeable in media art and programming, you will create videos and interactive art using Processing, a programming language suitable for visual arts, and Unity, a 3DCG game development platform. Classes are small, ensuring a friendly and thorough teaching experience even for beginners.

It will be operated as a classroom for learning and creating media art with rich creativity, a space for experiencing artworks, and an exhibition room.

Sachiko Kodama, Associate Professor, Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, University of Electro-Communications

Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1970. Graduated from the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University, and completed the Master's Program in Integrated Sculpture and the Doctoral Program in Art Studies at the Graduate School of Art and Design, University of Tsukuba. Media artist/researcher. Exhibits works around the world, including at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, Spain. Supervises the Créatif media art space.
